Fall in Line

Taboo Topic. That is the name I gave this publication and podcast. I chose this name because there are opinions many people share, mostly Christian and conservative, that the elite establishment deem unacceptable. It is not always easy to express these opinions, especially when you see high-profile people get stripped of their livelihoods for doing so. And it appears it is only getting worse, forcing me to ask the question of myself, “Should I just fall in line?”

The narrative. The subject of “the narrative” has become more of a conversation in the last six years, since Trump declared his candidacy in 2015. Trump started to call the establishment media “fake news,” which caught fire. The more the media lambasted and obsessed over Trump, the more exposed they were. The corruption became so glaringly obvious that Americans started to question everything they had been told. And the more you questioned the media’s narrative, the more aggressive they became in their rebukes. Now, one could make the argument that it is a propaganda machine.

Why do I have this discomfort about sharing my thoughts as time goes by? Why do I consider falling in line—and does admitting this make me weak? The truth is sometimes nerve-racking, to say the least. Especially when I see how a billionaire entertainer, Kanye West, has been treated since he tweeted his controversial statements. And I’ll call it controversial, but I won’t go as far as to say it was “anti-semetic.” I want you, the reader, to make the decision for yourself, instead of having the author telling you how to think. But Kanye has been on record this last month expressing what he believes to be a corruption of the entertainment industry, which predominantly is run by Jews, or people who identify as Jewish. Now, Kanye isn’t the first entertainer to talk about this. Ice Cube, who recently condemned Kanye, also has a history of making this connection. Lupe Fiasco, another entertainer, has made the connection—oh, and Nick Cannon as well. Now, I am not entirely educated on how true it is; however, Dave Chappel made recent remarks in a monologue on SNL about how there are a lot of Jews in Hollywood. This appears to be the tip of the iceberg, but we are not allowed to look further into it, because they happen to be Jews? It’s not racist if we have a conversation about any other race, however the Jews are off limits; it’s applauded when rappers talk about killing Black people, but it’s anti-semitic and derogatory if we talk about killing Jews, according to the higher-ups (for the record I don’t condone either). See the fallacy of this logic? But it doesn’t matter, because in a world where God is out of the picture, truth doesn’t matter. Dialogue and nuance does not matter. Athlete Kyrie Irving has learned this lesson the hard way recently.

Kyrie Irving decided to post a tweet about a movie called, “Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America.” This film promotes the idea of a Black Israelite ideology, “an umbrella term for various religious sects and congregations that believe that people of color, usually African Americans, are descendants of a lost tribe of ancient Israelites.” The media and the NBA took offense to this, labeling Kyrie anti-semitic. (Never mind the fact that the documentary is for sale on Amazon.) But because he did not apologize for his tweet, the NBA fined Kyrie and created a list of requirements he needed to accomplish before returning to play for the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets. What a way to say, “Stay in your place.”

When I see how Kanye and Kyrie are being treated, admittedly it makes me nervous. We have a billionaire, Kanye West, whose bank decided to cut ties with him because of him making the correlation between Hollywood and Jews. And Kanye said it best, but I’ll summarize what he said: if someone with Kanye’s influence and money can get into this much trouble for stepping out of line, even as far as his bank cutting ties, then what will happen to the commoners? The rest of us? I am not in the same solar system as these two celebrities, but I go against the narrative all the time. Election fraud? Threat to democracy. Children shouldn't get the COVID vaccine? Selfish. The COVID vaccine was ineffective? Anti-science. The COVID vaccine is most likely the cause of death among the young and healthy people who got it? Conspiracy theorist—and the list goes on. I am entering a season in my life where starting a family is a conviction of mine. At this rate, the FBI will break through my door at home and label me a terrorist before I even get a chance to start one. Luckily, my influence should not raise the alarms of the higher ups, but it does beg the question: Am I better off falling in line?

Honestly, until the day comes, I won’t know how I’ll react. The day is sadly coming of the social credit score, which is what happened to Kanye and Kyrie. The Great Reset, or the New World Order, is about stripping away the rights we have taken for granted. And in order to achieve this, they have to have the commoners “obey” whatever agenda they want to push. I’d like to think God has prepared me to stand up to tyranny, but that’s more likely now as an unmarried man. What if I have a family at that point? There will be people who will want to fall in line because they have a family to protect. Sure, we could criticize them from a distance and call them “cowards,” but every human has a breaking point. It’s why our hope should not be in humans at all, especially not the government. Now this, this is what the higher-ups don’t want the average Joe or Jane to talk about, because when people realize this, they don’t stand a chance—but our hope should be in Christ.

The book of Matthew speaks about how the birds don’t worry about when they are going to be fed, yet our heavenly Father does it anyway. It speaks on how we must not worry about tomorrow, but seek first the Kingdom of God and all His righteousness, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Additionally, the Bible speaks consistently on not being afraid, as there is a well-known Psalm that states, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Perhaps that is why Kanye felt free to speak his mind. At the end of the day, if our hope is in Christ, we have nothing to fear, for God is with us even in the darkest alley. There is no evil to fear. That is what the higher-ups are most afraid of people discovering. Only God can deliver us from the mess we’ve created. That is why I will continue to write these “taboo” thoughts, hoping it’ll provoke thought, making it “okay” to have these conversations. The truth, is worth seeking.
